QUICK QUESTION FOLKS. I just sold my house and the new buyers need a washer & dryer?
They were wedding gifts in July 2002, brand new from Sears. They were mid level brand.
What is a fair price for them? Together and separate?
Thank you.

Be glad you sold your house and give them the set.

unless they were the really expensive front loading Whirlpools that I fantasize about in my dreams, they aren’t worth more than about $75 each.
I’d throw them in for the buyers as a housewarming present. Every time they wash their stuff they’ll think of how kind you were to give it to them.

most people just leave the washer and dryer in the house if the house they are buying has a washer and dryer.well it probably was about 2000 brand new so probably half of that together and 500 seperate,so it would still be the same as if you sold them together

You know, 6 yr. old appliances are no real bargain, Just give them the washer and dryer, do a good thing, it will make you feel good, and someone will help you sometime when you need it.

If they are in pretty good shape..(keep in mind they are six years old), about the best you can get for used appliances like these, can go for $150 maybe $200 for both.
A more righteous move would be to throw the appliances in with the deal and consider it a blessing you sold the house.
