How can I rent a flat in London without having to deal with Estate Agents?
I am fed up with this so-caled profession who work for the benefit of themselves and the landlord. As a prospective tenant, my needs are at the bottom of their list. When speaking about my needs, they only wish to know how much my budget is, and then show me places more than that.
What I’m looking for is a site or forum whereby I can rent direct with limited risk to myself financially.

It does seem ridiculous the prices after even just a quick look. £1,300 a month for a shoebox in the middle of the road.
