depending on your definition of ‘nice’, newer units to older units range from INR 50,000/Month ($1,000) to INR 200,000 ($4,000).

it is typical, for Landlords to require anywhere from 6 to 12 months of rent as security deposit, and this can be commingled with their personal funds and do not pay any interest.

Also most Lessors, require that your employer guarantee the lease and very few Lessors rent to individuals, especially not to strangers.

Almost NO one (to my knowledge) would rent you a house or a flat with zero deposit. NOT even if you were a fast friend - I guess especially not if you are a fast friend.

    Best of luck.

BTW - Cushman & Wakefield, Knight Frank, CBRE all put out monthly rental values on their websites - although they do not generally offer leasing services for one flat!

It depend on which location you would like to settle down in. Place like Kormangala, JP nagar, BTM layout , Indira Nagar are quite expensive areas. 2ndly it depends on the kind of setup you are looking for a 2 bedroom or 3 bedroom one again varies.
As far as the deposit amount is concerned its fixed at 10 months advance flat. You may be lucky if you come across someone who is large hearted to consider ur case.
No, no one lets go of the deposit or security they may negotiate but let go no chance.

Totally depends on where you asking and what is meaningful for you.
as for the security deposit, YES. you will need to give a security deposit. Although there is no yard stick but the common industry practice is for 3 mths rent and upwards.

    Hope this helps
