    ask your landlord

Ask the owner if you can renew or extend, whatever it is if you want to do. If they want more money, you’ll have to decide whether you want to do that or find another place.

Yes you can extend it. You will have to go to your solicitor and you will have to pay a certain amount of money for the extension. You should really have done this when you bought the house or flat. It is better not to buy a home unless the leasehold is over 75 years.

Call the landlord ask if it is possible to extend the lease. If it’s not possible am fairly certain they have to give you at least 30 days notice to find somewhere else.

Don’t worry about this. When the lease expires, you will continue on a statutory periodic tenancy. The tenancy will continue on the same terms as the original lease with the only exception being notice periods, i.e. Landlord must give at least 2 months notice to end on the day before a rent due date and tenant must give 1 months notice.

If you really want to sign something new, this can be done at any time by signing a new agreement. The only real benefit to this is that you can fix the term of the tenancy for a futher period (any length of time over 6 months)
