HOME DECORATION QUESTION: Should I get a BLACK carpet for a room with?
all WHITE furniture and PURPLE as the key colour? (a dark, royal purple, different shades used throughout the room though)

I think that this is an option for you. The three colors coordinate well together. As long as you don’t have a white furry pet, you will be fine!!

I think that would look very nice. Personally I like the darker carpets, does not show as much dirt. (especially if you have kids or a grease monkey)

The colors will go together very well. Just so you are aware, very dark or very light carpets show dirt & flecks quicker than medium shades.
